What is the difference between the Commit Upgrade Plan and the Single Upgrade? |
| |
The Commit Upgrade Plan provides you with all upgrades and updates released for one year from the date of purchase of the plan, while a Single Upgrade provides you with a once-off upgrade of the licenses you have to the latest stable version we offer. You will not get upgrades and updates released after that date. |

What is the Commit Upgrade Plan? |
| |
Commit's Upgrade Plan is a software assurance plan. With this plan you receive immediate online access to any software updates and upgrades we release for a period of 12 months. This includes upgrades and updates for all the licenses you have. |

To ensure that you are up-to-date, this plan will automatically be renewed each year.
The automatic plan renewal assures that your business runs continuously and allows you to take advantage of new features and enhancements as they become available. This includes all major and minor version updates and upgrades. |

What licenses are covered by the Commit Upgrade Plan? |
| |
The plan includes all updates and upgrades for the licenses you have for a single Commit system, i.e. the Commit software and add-ons you have acquired. |

Depending on which Commit license you have, you may receive upgrades for any of the following licenses for no additional fee: |

Can you tell me more about the financial aspects of the Commit Upgrade Plan? |
| |
All upgrade plans are annual subscriptions.
The plans are affordably offered in several price levels according to the number of active employee licenses you have: 1-4, 5-9 or 10+ active employee licenses. |

To make sure you are always up-to-date, this plan is automatically renewed every year for the same price you paid in the previous year. Your annual plan price is protected even if we've raised the price. |

| |
In situations where your business grows and you have purchased additional employee licenses which now need to join the Commit Upgrade Plan, we may contact you towards the end of the current subscription term requesting that you change your subscription to one that suits the size of your business. This means that even if the number of employee licenses you have grows during the term of your subscription to the Commit Upgrade Plan, these licenses become part of the plan at no extra charge until the end of the subscription term. However, once the term ends, you may need to reevaluate your Commit Upgrade Plan.
We will never switch your subscription plan without consulting you first, and we will never charge you more than the price you've paid for the previous term unless you've approved it and have manually subscribed to another plan yourself. |

This includes free email support from our highly trained, professional support staff, free access to the FAQ knowledge base where you'll find valuable updated information, free documentation - new and updated user manuals and tutorials as they become available, and more. |

Our free support is available for all customers who are using a reasonably updated version of Commit, typically versions which are not older than two years. If you are using an older version we will still try to help; however, with the fast pace at which we are releasing new versions, we cannot guarantee the same level of support for older versions. |

What happens if I decide to cancel the plan? |
| |
Customers who cancel their upgrade plan can still continue to use Commit and the Commit add-ons they've purchased. They will also continue to receive all updates and upgrades until the end of the term they've paid for.
However, these customers will not receive any version updates and upgrades after the end date of this term. |

Customers who decide to keep their upgrade subscription enjoy the most up-to-date versions we offer and benefit from the latest features and tools. Maintaining your subscription may also save you money since it protects you from price changes: even if the price for the Commit Upgrade Plan increases, you will still pay the original lower price. |

We provide free support. Customers who cancel their upgrade plan are, of course, still entitled to the same level of support we provide all our customers and may contact us with any questions they have. |

Can I renew the plan after I've canceled it? |
| |
Yes, you can purchase and subscribe to an updated plan at any time after it was cancelled. However, you will need to pay the new Commit Upgrade Plan price for the renewal, and the original price you paid for your plan will no longer apply (the original price you paid for the upgrade plan is protected as long as you do not cancel it). |

Is it possible to purchase a single one-time update/upgrade? |
| |
Yes, you can purchase a single one-time version update/upgrade and not subscribe to a Commit Update Plan. However, with the fast pace at which we release new updates and upgrades, it is worthwhile to subscribe to an upgrade plan and save in the long-term. |
