Create a New Contract |

To define a new Contract for an Account:
1. Open the Account window. 2. Go to the Contracts tab. 3. Click the New 4. The New Contract window opens.
5. Fill in the Code - this field is a unique identifier of the Contract which can later help you to easily find the Contract by Code, and to generate Contracts reports by Code ranges. 6. Set the Contract Name, which should reflect the purpose of this Contract, and will help you select the most relevant Contract when adding Charges. 7. Set the Start and End dates. Note that each Contract must have an End Date. If you want to create a perpetual Contract, simply set a very far end date. When the Contract reaches its End Date it is expired. 9. Click OK to save.
You can see the current status of the Contract in the Contract General tab, near the Status field (e.g. "Used 0.00 of12 Hours"). If the Contract has exceeded its terms, the status will appear in red (e.g. "Used 14 of 12 Hours").
