Stand-Alone Installation

Top  Previous  Next

This section provides information on how to install the CommitCRM server and client applications on a local PC for a single-user system.
Where should the Commit software be located when using Commit as a stand-alone system?
When using Commit on a stand-alone PC, the server and client applications are both installed on your local PC. The client application is launched locally, using the server installation on this PC.

Server-side and Local Client Installation

The Commit installation process is completed in a few simple steps:

1. Download — Make sure you have downloaded the latest CommitCRM setup file from here.

2. Install — Launch the downloaded Commit Installer application.

Follow the instructions provided by the installation program:

Step 1, local server installation:  In this step you should select the installation folder for the server-components installation. The installation program will then install the server files into this folder.

Step 2, local client installation:  In this step you should select the client installation folder. The installation program will then install Commit client into this folder.

Done! You can now start working with Commit.
