Create a shared folder on a server
or on any computer that acts as a server and can be accessed over the network.
All network users should have full access rights and all privileges (add/update/delete) to this shared folder.

Run the downloaded Commit Installer application from the server itself OR from a client PC that is connected to the shared folder you created in the previous step. |

Follow the on screen instructions:
Step 1 - Server installation -
Select the Installation Folder to point to the server shared folder. The installation program will then install the server files into this folder.
The setup process then continues to the next step.
Step 2 - Client installation -
Select the client installation folder on the computer where the installer application is running. The installation program will then install Commit client on this computer.
The installation is now complete. |

Installing Commit client on additional network PCs:
To install Commit client run the following setup file from each PC:
\\<Shared-Server-Folder>\Commit\Utils\Install\InstallClient.exe
Notes:
(1) You only need to run this setup file to install new clients.
You do not need to run main downloaded setup file for this.
(2) Each Windows user, that will run Commit client, should have all rights and privileges (add/update/delete) to the shared network folder. |
