Hi
I try to use the API to create a new Account inCommitCRM. I've done it on my test computer, but on the server I get an error: File not found C:\CommitCRM\ThirdParty\UserDev\CmtDbEng.dll
CommitCRM is installed in another directory (c:\commitCRM\Commit.......) but I have copied the dll to the path indicated in the error message.

The server is a 2008 R2 64-bit and we use the Advantage SQL database server.

Hi,

Thanks for posting this.
There shouldn't be any problem setting this up on your x64 win 2008 machine; however, this does look like the system is not behaving as expected.

We suggest taking a backup of this affected RangerMSP system, and restoring it into a clean RangerMSP installation on the same server.

Once you've restored the backup and completed the steps for installing the RangerMSP Email Connector service, you should be able to pass the API transaction without any problem.

For more information see Backup and Restore FAQ.
For more information see Email Connector User Guide.
For more information see Automatically Creating New Accounts for Web Site Visitors.

Let us know how this goes.

Bracha

Hi,

We also wanted to add another tip that should be able to help here.

Try adding the following folder to your PC Environment variable Path:

<server>\RangerMSP\Client

/forum_images/system-path.jpg

Hope this helps.

Bracha
