What is the purpose of a snagless 1' cable? You are not really pulling it anywhere. Just makes it a pain to unplug.

Just thought that was funny.

Anyone else doing any Gbit network upgrades? We put in a few Gbit switches and increased bandwidth from ~80Mb to ~208Mb. We're not happy, but its a start. I was looking for for 800Mb. Probably crummy cables.

Probably some HDD read/write slowness as well.

For all the advances in network transmission speeds we are still stick with the same crummy hard-drive bottlenecks of yesteryear.
