Is this possible? I can see how to create a new one but not link an existing ticket. If not, it really needs to be added (right click, link ticket).

Currently this is not possible, but we will take note of the suggestion.

A possible workaround though could be to create a new Ticket from the Asset as you say but then to merge it with an existing Ticket as described here.
