Hello,

Since the last version upgrade we're experiencing some issues on
our terminal server. If a user forgets to close the CommitCRM application,
and the Terminal Server session gets disconnected the application becomes
unavailable for other users.

If you already had CommitCRM opened, there's no issue and you can keep using the program. But when you close CommitCRM it cannot be started again.

The CommitCRM process has to be closed for all users before anybody can start
the application again.

Are there other people who experienced this issue, and do you have a solution?

Regards,
Raymond

We are not aware of such issues and everything should work as expected. You can try the following:

1. Re-apply access rights for RangerMSP folder tree (e.g. to all sub-folders and all files).

2. Modify Advantage Database Server service (SQL backend) to run under more privileged user - Administrator - it can be changed under Log On tab of the service properties window (Accessed from Windows Services list).

In addition server with newer OS such as 2012/R2 requires using version 11 of Advantage Database Server. Verify that this is the version that you have installed.
