Assign password Tokens

We want to protect more assets using more tokens. Can someone with a T1 token assign a T1 token?

I would like people with T3 tokens to assign them to assets so only T3's can see them. I don't to have to edit every single asset!

When adding a Password record, the security settings are defaulted to 'By Account'. it means that setting a token for the Account will automatically protect all Passwords listed under the Account, except for Passwords set with custom tokens. In case the user that adds a Password does not have the required Account token/s, the Password will be added without any tokens.

Changing the Password's security settings and assigning security tokens to Password records requires the person to have SysAdmin privileges.

It is possible that having an option to set default tokens for Assets could help achieving what you are after and we will take a note on this. Thanks for asking

The bigger we get, the more things in ranger that can only be done by high level managers.

Please look at adding the options to allow users to set tokens as high as the privilege they have. Thanks.
