This has been a request for the past 10 years. Where is this feature at? Office 365 has a robust API and every PSA almost uses it. Can we get out of the dark ages? There is no reason that we need a PC running with Outlook to sync a calendar. Seriously, there aren't any legitimate excuses.
I would be willing to bet that 80% at least of your users are on Office 365. sync to that and you will have solved for the 80% rule. The other 20% can start using Office 365. :) |

The office sync app crashes every once in a while and needs to be restarted. This means we have to constantly check the server to make sure it is running. At least if it were a windows service we could monitor it without having to check the server. This should be replaced already. I have to waste a user license just to sync the calendar. When will this feature be fixed?

Thank you for posting this. Your feedback is noted.
Assuming that you currently use Outlook Sync Utility you can email us the log files for review. Please note that you can run as many such utilities in parallel on as many different PCs/servers as needed. They'll all run and won't conflict with each other. Hope this helps. (Update from Support Team: Starting with version 23 an optional Office 365 Calendar Sync plugin lets perform direct calendar sync with Office 365 calendar, including automatic server-side background sync. ) |

I know this post is a couple of weeks old, but I am in agreement with the OP. CommitCRM is a great program - works awesome with managing my entire IT business however, I do wish it integrated with Google/Office365 and Outlook and/or Thunderbird. I personally am a Thunderbird fan, but due to some limitations, we may be migrating to Outlook. Neither work can sync and neither work with sending email within the program via the email templates. This is more of an issue when Windows 10 is the OS, but very frustrating none the less.
