User licensing question from a nube

I am in day 5 of a CCRM install. We are pretty impressed. Can someone explain the user licensing?

Is is based on how many employees are logged in, like Quickbooks?

    Or

Is it based on how many employee records we have?

We are a tiny org and I have quite a few floaters, contractors, and some employees that work part time and full time.

If it was per employee record.....wow very expensive.

Hi Techbrainy, thank you for posting this. All information about our pricing can be found in our eStore (here).

we used CommitCRM in a mix environment of floaters and perm staff.
for perm staff, we give them full name and dedicated user accounts.
for floaters, we give them a common name like server-tech, pc-tech, remote-tech etc. that way, we can have 2 server-techs login at the same time using the same licence (which means if i have 6 full time staff and 4 temp staff (2 server tech, 2 pc tech), I need to only buy 8 user licenses.)

        bridgesint,

I'm surprised if you are large enough to have 6 full time techs and 4 temps that its not worth obtaining more licenses to use CommitCRM the way you should and have some tracking and accountability for the work your techs are entering.
