On some configurations it happens that connecting with QuickBooks requires a few attempts. Verify that you are logged into QuickBooks as an Admin and in Single User mode. Then try to connect from RangerMSP. In case this does not help try to connect when QuickBooks is closed. Also, Windows UAC should be turned ON with this edition of QuickBooks. In case it does not work please try to connect from another PC to the very same company file. Once it gets approved in QuickBooks it'll most likely connect from any PC on your network. Also try disabling your Anti-Virus and application firewall as it sometimes interfere with the connection attempts.
