Would it be possible to create a Structured Note for Opportunities?
Use case: Consultant meets potential client and needs to gather ALL of the appropriate information about the opportunity. We would like to create a call script (question list) for each opportunity of a certain type, so that even new consultants asked the appropriate questions (gathered the right information) each time a new opportunity arose. Any thoughts? |

Currently Structured Notes are not available for Opportunities. Based on your use case it indeed may be a useful addition and we will take a note on this. They are currently available for Accounts, Contacts, Assets, and Tickets. You may consider the following alternatives: 1. You can add a potential customer as an Account/Contact, mark it with type 'Potential Customer' or similar (to be able to distinguish between prospects and actual customers) and then manage Structured Notes under the Account/Contact. Then, in the Opportunity you can use the lightning bolt icon in the Opportunity Preview or General tab to open the Account/Contact preview. 2. You can use the Description or Notes field under the Opportunity, create a list of predefined texts (aka - templates) that can be easily added into the Description and the user can fill additional details: Hope this helps! |
