Change a Charge Item Type

We have an item that is currently a labor item. We want to change it to a product item. Is there a way to do this other than delete the item and create a new one? Thanks.

Items types are related to billing and billing settings (like which contract can cover what types of Items - Labor and/or Expenses and/or Products). As such the type cannot be modified or else it might break entries that already exist in the database.

You can either delete the item in case it was not used for Charges yet or you can suspend it.

You may also need to remove the link between the RangerMSP item and QuickBooks item - this can be done using the 'QB' drop down menu in the Items window.
