Is there a way when you do a batch contract copy to mark the old contracts as "complete"?

Luke,

Currently there isn't such an option available.
You'll need to filter the list to show only Open Contracts that expired (use a filter for this - "End Date - Less Than - Today's-date").
Then, deactivate them one after the other, still manual process but you won't need to "think" or check whether you're deactivating a right contract of not.

Besides that; feedback noted. Thanks.

Ok, good idea on the filter... Do you think there would be a way for a feature like this to be built into the Batch copy wizard? Just a check box that says "mark old contracts as "complete""...

Yes, I believe we may add such a feature as it may help a lot of users. It's already logged as a request. Thank you!
