I need a new solution to an old problem. I want to make bootable image dvd's for backup, restore, deployment, etc.
I used Norton ghost to make the current set i have, and my old version doesn't like W7. What is available these days? (That works, and is simple) |

We use Image For Windows. It is cheap, flexible, scriptable and can make bootable image discs directly. http://www.terabyteunlimited.com/image-for-windows.htm

Disk2VHD
and VHD2Disk It's free from Sysinternals, and can image your system while its running. Then you can boot the VHD from your choice of Virtual Server Hosts. You can mount the VHD as a virtual HD, or restore it to a physical disk via VHD2Disk. I use it with Terabyte IFW for incremental backups. |
