When having Contracts records you can indeed select default Items for Labor, Expense and Parts so when a new Charge is added under this contact the default item is automatically selected for the new charge based on the charge type (labor/expense/part). The global system contract is a "virtual" contract that can be used whenever no other contract is defined for the account. As it is "virtual" you cannot set default items to it. I can see how this may help and logged this as a feature request. Thanks, Sherry |
