Would it be possible for a HTTPS certificate to be installed on the main CommitCRM site and forum?

Thanks for suggesting this. We may add one, actually, there's a self-signed certificate already in place, you can use that, encryption is at the same level but you need to approve it. Anything financial related is already covered like this. Thanks!

Shocking that these forums are not redirected to SSL. Also shocking that SSL does not even come up in any searches (likely because the search is broken for searches with only three characters).

FYI, it can soooo easily be done with Certbot and LetsEncrypt for free, and auto-renew the cert every 90 days with a cron or scheduled task. www.sslforfree.com / who-hoo. A1-2 hours to learn how to do it the first time, then 15 minutes for every one after.
