Just switched to Office 365 and get the following error below. I went into ServerConfig.exe and reset and tested the email conenctions and they all passed. Any incoming emails are showing in the outlook inbox for a few seconds and then disappear. No tickets are created and no messages are forwarded to any of the techs. any ideas what we messed up?

thanks,
jim

We've just replied to your email about this. In short the root cause is that Office 365, that you have just started to use, does not allow message relaying. You will need to disable the option to relay messages and all should then work well will 365.

Hope this helps.

We are testing it using our ISP for SMTP and will let you know if that works ok. Otherwise, we will change the ini file you mentioned.

Thanks,
Jim

We are having the same error:

SMTP Exception: The server rejected the message: 550 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this sender

If I go through setup and test it works fine but I get this message multiple times daily.

Can you confirm if you already updated the ini file according to the instructions we emailed you back in July? We can send them to you again if you need.

I deleted all messages out of the two folders as directed. I then attempted to un-select the option to forward as-is but do not see that option. I am still getting that error. We are currently using version 7

Did you follow the other email and edited the .ini file? You should add the token if it's not there and set it to Y. In case you need that email again, please let us know and we'll forward it to you. We do not post it here for a reason, this might create issues if mis-configured and we try to be on top of it. Please let us know.

yes, I also updated the ini file. Also, I noticed our calendars are no longer syncing from Commit to Outlook.
