Can some Webroot Integration features please be added in CommitCRM that allows the following?
(The below sections probably need a bit of fleshing out, but this is where we are currently heading)

Allow Webroot parts to be created in the parts list in such a way that......

When this part is charged to a customer, use the Webroot API to look to see if the customer exists in the Webroot GSM.
If customer doesn't exist,
a) add the customer into the Webroot GSM
b) set up a CommitCRM contract for the renewal to be managed.
If the customer does exist,
a) increase the seats purchased by 1 in the Webroot GSM
b) record the Webroot license as a software asset in CommitCRM as a sub asset to a PC.

Periodically look in the Webroot GSM at all sites to see if an alert has occurred and record any alerts in CommitCRM as a history note against the asset.

Thank you for posting this and for suggesting this. Suggestion noted.

For what it is worth, while there is no predefined integration with Webroot, and while not the same, you can nevertheless try using the Online Services feature to send the data or even query the data from Webroot via URL - in case Webroot supports this - e.g. a URL with parameters to query data (many other systems do and it is usually very useful).

As for Webroot alerts - in case Webroot can send email notifications about these you should try using the Automated Emails feature of Email Connector.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reminder about Online Services.
The Online services feature looks useful for simple lookups.
Given what we are trying to achieve is more than a simple lookup, I think we will work on the API instead.

Subscribed to this!

Webroot's login and 2fa means that URL lookups won't work with them.

If you get anywhere with this, please keep the rest of us updated. Continuum doesn't have a good integration for virus alerts with webroot and we would love to see tickets generated based on the asset from them.

Webroot and CommitCRM integration in a single app.
First version is done

We have a lot more features to add. Version 1.0.0 is merely the beginning.

We have now finished Webroot Integration for our Jupiter Server product.
Therefore it is now possible for anyone to write a .NET program or a Powershell script as glue between Webroot and CommitCRM.
https://dentaur.com.au/jupiter-server/

For example, with the Jupiter Server you could create a Contract for AV in CommitCRM for a customer, then building on this code here, write some Powershell or C# to detect that the contract has been created and create a corresponding customer in your Webroot GSM.
https://dentaur.com.au/jupiter-serve...t-create-site/

Our client app also allows a user to download a new Agent for a customer, instead of logging into the WebRoot website.

Yes, it would be possible to query the threat history of customer sites or end points on a regular basis and generate tickets in CommitCRM using the Jupiter Server as a single API that supports both Webroot and CommitCRM.

Kind regards
