I have a scheduled report that we created, but when I go to edit its filters, it says I do not have any Scheduled Reports for that report.

Any ideas?

Thank you for posting this and asking.

There are two types of scheduled reports, one for customers where you manage scheduled reports, for customers, under each of the customer Account records, and there are personal per-user/employee scheduled reports managed under the Reports window, by each user. I'm not sure for which of the two cases you refer to, incase the scheduled reports to users - please verify that the user scheduled the report is the one logged into RangerMSP when reviewing this. As mentioned, this is a per-user setting and when another user logs in, they'll see their scheduled reports (if any), but not of other users.

In case the above won't help, feel free to share some screenshots with us.

Thanks!

We have an admin account setup in Ranger that we dedicate for internal Ranger management and reporting. I logged in as that user, went to the user report that is sending weekly as intended- and it says- "You have not scheduled any reports yet." I know this is incorrect, because the report comes weekly and the report filter is correct. It is as though it lost that it lost track of who created and scheduled the report. Is this a first or has it happened to anyone else before?

Thank you for posting this. We are not aware of such an issue and therefore I recommend that we start with reviewing your log files in our lab.

Please zip the \Logs folder and email it to us or upload and share with us using our support@ address (Drive/DropBox/etc.).

In addition, please share the name of this admin user as well as their Employee record Record ID - this can be found at the bottom of their Preview or Notes tabs, so please include it in your email as well.

Hope this helps!

Does switching to the SQL version of RangerMSP affect this? I am under the user account the schedule report was created under but it tells us that:

Clicking on My Scheduled Reports:
"You have not scheduled any report yet."

.....and

Clicking on Schedule:
"Select how you wish to filter the scheduled report:" -but there is already a report scheduled that comes weekly.

Please advise.

Follow-up:
Logging onto the server running Ranger (not a client) the report appears. Logging on as a user from a workstation on the network running Ranger, the above messages appear. Is there a reason for that? Do all reports have to be managed directly at the server?

The main issue is that we have a report that was created by an old employee. We cannot delete the report as it says:

"Report cannot be deleted because it is being used as a Scheduled Customer Report." Is there a way to delete this report?

Thanks for asking.

I doubt this has anything to do with using the SQL version.

From what I understand, you want to delete a custom report however attempting to delete is blocked because the report (format) is used and is scheduled for customers.

Please login into RangerMSP, ideally with a SysAdmin user and under the Reports main window use the Customer Scheduled Reports dropdown at the top. When seeing reports on the list it means that such reports are scheduled for customers (and therefore cannot be deleted).

Pick the report you wish to delete from this dropdown and in the window that opens you'll have the option to see all customers that are subscribed to this report. If needed, you can then visit the details window of each such customer and under the 'Scheduled Reports' tab delete the report/s you no longer want them to receive. After unsubscribing all customer accounts from a specific report/layout, you should be able to delete this layout.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the reply. Your instructions are exactly what we performed for the Customer Scheduled Reports as well but received the ""You have not scheduled any report yet."

Will send screenshots.
