I would think a great additional to CommitCRM would be a Configuration page located within the client portal that can be update within CommitCRM.
With configurable user access for client managers and admins This would allow IT staff tracking of all usernames password network settings as well as keep the client up to date of password and network setting changes. Configuration example such as: Accounts and Password Domain/Computer User Passwords Username Password Notes Machine Specific: Machine Username Password Notes Online/Program Accounts: Program Username Password Notes Other Accounts: Name Notes Network Information ISP Account Name Billing Phone Number Billing Address Company Type Speed up\down Modem Model MAC IP Subnet Gateway DNS1 DNS2 DNS3 Notes Router Manufacture Notes Model Firmware Remote Access User Pass Internal IP WAN Subnet Primary DNS Secondary DNS Third DNS Access Point (WiFi) Manufacture Notes Model Firmware MAC SSID Passkey Encryption Type User Password IP Mode VPN Type IP User Pass Notes PPTP Network Devices Manufacture Model MAC IP User Pass QOS VLAN Notes Servers: Name IP Address Machine info Notes SIP Devices Manufacture Model Firmware Phone Number Extension IVR IVR Description Contact Name Ext. User Ext. Pass MAC IP User Pass SIP Server NTP Servers WMI Voicemail Server MSG Server (Ext) Notes |

Using Asset Configuration Note you can configure this exact configuration sections, manage them using the RangerMSP client and view them using the technicians portals. I'll add a note about remotely being about to edit the info from a Browser. Thanks for asking.

I would strongly suggest http://www.si-portal.com/ for client documentation.
You can achieve some integration with CommitCRM with the CommitCRM Web Links. It works well and produces some fantastic documentation and reports. Hosted or On Premises models available. They have a "free single user" promotion as well. You can give clients a read only login as well to view their own documentation. |
