Is there a way of adding a ticket count in tickets report, for example knowing the amount of tickets created for a given account within a selected date.

Yes, you can customize tickets report to count the number of tickets per account.

For example:

1. Copy the "Tickets list by Account" report, and customize it.
2. Enlarge the Account group footer, to add the count field there
3. In the designer window, you should add a DBCalc field, and set the calculation formula (right-click the field, and select Calculations) to "Count".
4. Select the "Tickets – Record ID" as the database field which is linked to the Count field.
5. Save your changes and generate the report. This should add the amount of tickets per account after the account list.

If you wish, you can also continue the customization, and remove the actual tickets list, so you will have only the amounts per ticket.
