We have an active subscription with www.dnsstuff.com which allows us to do whois lookups, get detailed DNS reports and much more. How can we use the internet option in CommitCRM to automatically pull the website address from the account, do a whois lookup, then a second internet option to get a full DNS report for the client?

Hi brills,
I believe that www.dnsstuff.com allow to pass parameters in URL, such as http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=xx.xx.xx.xx. You can easily use this from RangerMSP Online Services: 1. You should keep the clients IP address in one of the Account's fields (e.g. Field1 in the Details tab) 2. Add an Online Service per service (e.g. whois, lookup, etc.). 3. When defining the Online Service, you should add the relevant field as the parameter. For example, if you keep the IP in the Account's Field1 (you can rename it to reflect the meaning), then the Online Service should look like this: Name: whois Base URL: http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch Parameters: ?ip=<CMTLBLDATA_FLDCRDUSER2> You can view more examples and the full list of available Account's fields here.
