Hey there,

We are upgrading our server infrastructure and will be running everything remotely in our rack at a data center.

We are moving from SBS2008 (CommtCRM) plus a W2008R2 Interlink server to 2012 R2 and Exchange 2013 via SBSMigration.

We are also considering running the CommitCRM app over a VPN ?

Any thoughts ?

TIA.

With the SQL back-end (especially the newer 64 bit edition of SQL) and an additional important local setting on each PC, using RangerMSP over VPN becomes much faster, though using it under the same configuration over Terminal Services is faster and everything runs locally on the remote server. In any case, you'll be able to use both options simultaneously and see what works for you better.

Hope this helps.

Not related to the CommitCRM part but I thought that SBSMigration.com (if that's what you were referring to) did not have any products for Server 2012 and/or Exchange 2013.
