We are changing around some of our custom ticket status values. How can we perform some type of batch or bulk update of tickets to their new status?

Thanks

Batch update of Ticket statuses isn't currently available. We'll take a note. For what it is worth, it is already available for Accounts. Thanks for asking.

Glad to hear that feature is available for Accounts. That should make it easier to perform the same function on the ticket side.

We accomplished what we needed by performing the following workaround provided by Commit Support....

Use Export feature and Import Tickets feature to update the Ticket Status to 'Completed' or to any other status.

Important - Take a backup of CommitCRM prior performing this as this action cannot be undone.

1. From the Tickets list, export the Tickets you want to update to Excel - using the Table Options > Export Table Data in the pop up menu.

2. In the created Excel file -
i) Remove all columns except Ticket Number and Status.
ii) Update a status value for all Tickets rows to 'Completed' or to another status.

3. Import the Excel file into CommitCRM using Tools > Data Tools > Import Tickets tool.

While in the import wizard - make sure that Ticket Number and Status fields are mapped.
