Number Normalization

I did a quick search about this in the forum but didn't see anything.
When entering phone numbers into contact fields... Can the software "normalize" the number entered?
If I enter just the number 5045551212 can it format it into (504) 555-1212 or something else of my choosing? Maybe 504.555.1212

RangerMSP does not convert or format the phone numbers - anything you type in the field is what you get.
