Custom Field Length Format

Hello.

I have recently created a custom Tab with some custom fields. It all works great except that when I go to make an entry I can not press enter for it to go to the next line.

I have the charater length set very high and the field height is more than plenty. It allows me to keep entering text in a single line but I cannot, nor will it force a return to the next line.

I do not see any option or check box to "allow multiple lines".

What am I missing?

There are two types of textual Custom Fields -

"Text Only" - This is a single line text field, with a length you set.

"Free Text" - An unlimited (almost) textual field that can hold multiple lines.

I guess you need to use Free Text fields to achieve what you described.

Now that I have already created the tab and fields, is there an easy way to adjust this or do i have to recreate it all?
