Microsoft Surface tablet and Microsoft Access

Hi all,

I have a client wanting a tablet that runs Access, does any know if the new tablet buy microsoft the Surface will run office. I beleave it will but looking for confirmation.

also any alternatives?

The Surface pro is Intel based and is supposed to run all software...... but it has a heafty price tag $800+

I'd rather buy a midrange laptop for $500-$600 is way more powerful than any tablet
