Anyone tire of adding all the Chinese and Korean ip's to the block list?

Is that what you do? I'm using plesk and just finished the recovering from the third compromise of smtp credentials this year.

I'm definitely sick of it. Wish there were someway in plesk to auto blacklist after say 50 bad authentication attempts.

I never was compromised, but i had to leave plesk. It wasn't keeping up with changes in security fast enough. We are now using WHM with cpanel.

cpanels cphulk will auto black list for a 2 week period. if you want it permanently you have to manually add the IP.

I wish it was a 1 click add, or auto permanent blacklist after x violations. What i finally did was turn off the notifications for brute force detections and told it to notify me if someone actually managed to login somehow!
