As we suggested on the other forum, you should probably configure an Online Service for Assets in order to connect to the particular machine on the customer's site).

You will most like need a machine ID so SC will be able to know which machine to connect to, you can store it as an Asset field and use this field as a parameter for the Online Service that you configure.

Please note that the above works with different remote control systems and we did not test it directly with Screenconnect (please verify that it supports URL parameters).

Let us know if you need any assistance and once things work you are welcome to share the Online Service with the community by posting to this forum.

Hope this helps.

It doesn't look like there are any strings or ID's that can be passed along. Maybe someone smarter then me will figure this one out.

From what I understand from ScreenConnect you would need to use the computers unique session ID to make the connection. In order to do that you would need to create a custom field on the asset to store this. You would also need find a way to export this from SC and get it into CommitCRM. If you can do that the URL you would use would be something like the following. It would launch a browser and join the computer, no way to do this without launching the browser that I am aware of.

Example: https://FQDN.com/Host#Access/All%20M...a4f4a94b9/Join

I use something similar to the above but haven't taken the time to get each systems session ID into CommitCRM. This method will launch the browser and search for the computer name. You can then double click it to join. Keep in mind that its just doing a search for a name and could bring up multiple systems matching that search or an incorrect system that just happens to have the same name as the asset.

Example: https://FQDN.com/Host#Access/All%20M...s/COMPUTERNAME

For this method in CommitCRM you would setup an Online Service with a basic URL of....
https://FQDN.com/Host#Access/All%20Machines/
and a URL Parameter of.....
<CMTLBLDATA_FLDASTNAME>

Hope that is of some value and if anyone knows a better method please follow up.

Thanks
