Just curious to know how many of your clients have Linux servers? And for what purpose? We have a few clients, running Debian and Red Hat, but running as just file servers nothing more..

Thanks,

Tekky

If only a fileserver is needed then maybe Openmediavault free and runs from usb stick allowing all drives in a server be used for storage http://www.openmediavault.org/

We have few clients. Mostly for file sharing. However, as a business owner I prefer Microsoft. More billable hours :P hahah

CentOS ... using them for
- proxy
- dns
- dhcp
- file sharing
- openvpn
- rsync back

We tend to "encourage" at least one Centos instance at each client location.

LOL, me too :)

we have 1 customer with a linux box and it is there just as an intranet server. nothing else.
it has been playing up a fair bit recently so possibly going to scrap it and move their intranet offsite anyway.
