I would like to be able to Keep Track of Time on Opportunities. Do I open a Ticket and Put it against the Lead? Will it carry over when it changes from Lead to a real Customer?

The best way to manage your leads is using Accounts in RangerMSP and setting the Account type to "Lead" (you can edit the possible account types by selecting "Edit List"). You can then open the Sales Opportunity against this "lead" account (each opportunity must be linked to an existing account).

You can also associate the new Tickets and Charges to this Account. Note that you can add Charges directly on the Account, so there is no need to open a Ticket for it.

When a sales opportunity is won, and you want to translate it to the actual job, you can easily convert it into a Ticket or a Contract or Asset from the Sales Opportunity window > More Actions menu.

Once the lead becomes a real customer, you just need to change its type into "Customer", thus keeping all the linked information with the Account.
