searching all fields in accounts --

how do we get the find function (account window) to search all fields including notes? we need to be able to find contacts with specific info in their notes field.

The default Account Keyword search option searches many fields at once - contact name, company name, file-as, phone numbers, fax, account # and much more (though not the Notes field).

To search for an Account by the Notes field select this field from the 'Find' drop down found on the left side of the Accounts search panel at the top. Then type the word to search and you're done.

suggestion: let US select which fields get searched when we select "Keyword/s" and "Part of word/s" -- a simple check box a "Search" tab in tool, options would do it...

That would be awesome, I would prefer for almost all instances to include the notes field when seaching. If I need to drill down to specific fields then I can choose the field from the drop down or use a filter.
