Filtering Assets

Is there a way to filter Hardware to separate difference from Workstation to Servers, Rather then just calling it hardware in the asset type?

Yes, the trick is to use any of the fields under the Details tab of the Asset to hold such information. Then you can filter by this field instead of the main, upper level, field that categorized it as 'Hardware'. For example, rename 'Field1' to 'Hardware Type' and customize its drop down list to include common hw products that you track.
